A large new study of diet programs published in the New England Journal of Medicine last week compared the weight-loss and health-improvements from three types of diet over two years. While there’s lots of information in the report, the big news isn’t in the report. The big news is that none of the diets, low-fat, Mediterranean, low-carb, was anywhere near effective enough on its own to get you the 6 pack abs you’re looking for.     Amen! While nutrition is extremely important, it is just one part of the overall puzzle. Any fat loss efforts that do not include exercise will ultimately fail. And it’s NOT 60 minutes a day on a treadmill!
